The mission of a coach is to create and engineer a community (team) that can transform its weaknesses into strengths and build the integrity and character of a player into honorable men and women of society with a strong spiritual faith.
Game Changing Moment is not merely to equate the phrase with a sporting event. There is more to sports than what transpires on the field of competition. There are game changing moments on the field or court that presents models for life changing moments in a player's development. There can be no deceit in understanding that sports and life merge together to create untainted victory in the milieu of society.
When we closely examine this revelation we discover that "change is inevitable" and if used properly creates and sustains the culture of honest victory on the field as in life.

As a coach it's critical to establish a philosophy by which your team is identified. In high school my wrestling and football coach Walter Acham lived by this philosophy "know your role and play your position" that statement has had a part in cultivating my own philosophy over the years "know your purpose and conquer your destiny" is not just a sports metaphor it's a life principle.
If I have learned one thing in this life, it is that God will not tie my shoes without me.
